That's right, folks. As of 2:30 this afternoon, this is what our building site looked like . . .
The excavator had packed up and left, and the kids were super excited to climb on all the piles of dirt. And trust me, we have a lot of dirt. But given how much we're going to use to backfill and re-slope the yard, it's probably not enough. :)
Never in my life have I been so excited about a big hole in the ground. And the kids have had a blast today, being able to watch the excavator do its thing. Susie said they were out there at 6:30 this morning, so that explains why when we arrived at 8 they already had so much done. Great work, guys! You are super fast!
