As posted on our house blog, the change in schedule given to us yesterday was apparently a tad bit off (although not by much!). The house is scheduled to be finished Thursday (not Wednesday), and delivered to us next Tuesday (not this Saturday). So we're gaining three days, two of which are weekend days. What's great about that? Well, if you remember, we had planned to accomplish quite a few things this weekend before the house gets here. Then yesterday afternoon we were sent into a tizzy because we were no longer going to have another weekend before the house arrives. But order has been restored, and now we've been given the weekend again. Thank goodness! The schedule (depending on weather) is as follows: One-half of the house (the back half) will be delivered on Tuesday. The set-up crew will begin setting it Wednesday morning, while the delivery driver brings the front half down by lunchtime. Then the crew will set the front half, and then attach everything together and to the basement. So mark your calendars (tentatively) for Wednesday. Weather permitting, we'll be putting the house in that day!
