I met with our septic guy yesterday afternoon out at the house site. He said it should be a simple installation, because the ground's level and there's not a lot of rock. He went over our options, and told me that it should only take a day to install the whole system. But with the huge amount of rain we got on Wednesday, the ground is way too wet to do anything right now. Hopefully, in a few days it will dry up enough so he can get in there. Jason is supposed to call him when it dries out, and he'll try and come down the next day and get it installed. Yay!
We have to schedule the guy to come put the well down, which will hopefully be happening next week as well. We also need to get the service contract started with the electrical engineer. Hopefully Jason will be able to get hold of both these people today.
I know we will be working at the house site this weekend, trying to finish assorted projects before the house arrives (only two weekends left!). I will do my best to post pictures as we go!
